BOURGES' LIGHT NIGHTS
On the road to the castles of the Cher and Loire, a spectacle is showed in the medieval city of Bourges, bathed by lights and by images through the " Convent of the Augustines ", the " Hotel des Echevins ", " Hôtel Lallemant " and the " Jardin de l'Archevêché " (From April to October).
FOIRE AUX ANES
Lignières-en-Berry: approximately 1700 habitants. Municipality of the Cher, close to the Indre, to the Creuse and to the Allier. Capital of the donkeys on every Pentecost Mondays. Please, arrive very early, great atmosphere.
Parade of the stars, competition and deliveries. On the market place, animations and sales.
All the races - or almost - are present:
- donkey of Poitou with long curly hairs
- grey donkey of Provence with Saint André's cross on the back
- donkey of the Bourbonnais
- Catalan, Norman donkeys, of Cotentin
- products of crossings
- but it is the Berry’s Great Black, with a grey snout and clear glasses that reigns here. "Foire aux Ânes et aux Mules"

SECOND HAND MARKET OF TOUCHAY
The most important demonstration in TOUCHAY is the second-hand goods, which takes place, for 17 years now, on the fourth Sunday of July. For 15 or 20 years, the secondhand trade lost its dusty and ruined image; bridges between the worlds of the secondhand goods dealers and the antique dealers multiplied. That's the reason why it is renewed with pleasure, for the 9th consecutive year, the Antique space dealers, in the heart of France.
TOUCHAY makes everything to keep its secondhand at a high level, of quality.This secondhand trade became a national meeting, which means that the secondhand goods dealers are people of passion.
